Fern is a silly girl! She loves to play and really enjoys her time playing our in the yard on our beautiful central Kansas homestead. When inside, don't look far for Fern! You will find her cuddled on the couch, under a blanket or part of a fuzzy dog pile!

Her laid back demeanor and friendly personality means she gets along with all her housemates big and small.

The Basics

Fern is a highly social smooth coat Chihuahua and is outside bred and we were fortunate enough to have her grace our home in early 2023 along with her littermate sister, Fig. Fig came first and we just loved her so much that just one week later we brought her sister Fern here to join her. She is a beautiful Cream with limited white markings. She has been fully Embark Vet tested and has preliminary OFA patella work and is OFA cardiac cleared. She spends her days enjoying the comforts of the comfy furniture and giving lazy day kisses.

Health Testing

Fig is Embark tested. Fig is 100% Chihuahua and carries a single copy of the Proportionate Dwarfism Gene (GH1 Exon 5). Fig color codes Ee, kyky, ayat, Dd, Bb, Ssp. She has cleared preliminary OFA patella clearance and OFA Cardiac. Routine bloodwork, liver and kidney function bloodwork has been completed and all showed she is as healthy on the inside as she is on the outside. Fern weighs 6 lbs 6.6 ounces and has a beautiful applehead, nice full, tight stop with a very short nose.
