I just have to thank you again for our beautiful Ellie. She is the most amazing pup I could imagine. Not only is she incredibly beautiful and healthy, she is also extremely well adjusted, very confident, extremely smart and just a joy to have in our family. She hasn't found anything that she doesn't take on with full confidence. From cats, to dogs, to children to all of the hustle and bustle of a house full, she just takes it all in stride. I couldn't have asked for a better pup from a better breeder."

Our little family
Hi! My name is Tish (Patricia) and my husband Dennis and I run Midwest Working Dog by Midwest Chihuahuas. We first met during military service in the early 90's and started the full program together in 2007 after I had been studding for years. First located in our home state of Ohio, Midwest moved to the center of Kansas in 2021.
Now, in 2025, Midwest is closing active breeding due to a personal, medical diagnosis. We are hoping to celebrate early December of 2025 with two final long haired Chihuahua litters planned to Wheatley & Bessie and sired by Harvey and Riot.
Beginning January 1, 2026 the program will close and only available puppies will be placed. Midwest will be rebranding to Midwest's "Traveling Stud Service" as of January 2026 and will only offer stud service around the USA from Harvey, Riot and once ready, Warren, Harry and possibly Bishop.
We appreciate all the clients that have been a part of our world all these years. We hope to continue to maintain these close friendships for years to come.
